Dear Maintenance Operations Administrators:
Today's maintenance operations are becoming more complex each day. The demands on our operations by our customers require the highest levels of efficiency and cost effectiveness. As we strive to meet these demands we find two significant areas which are changing rapidly. The first is the equipment that we use to perform our work. The second is the facilities from which we operate.
As administrators we have to perform a juggling act between meeting the demands of our customers and meeting the demands of our superiors (City Councils, Transit Boards, Utility Boards, and School Boards). Due to the complexity and high level needs of these requirements, I founded Maintenance Facility Consultants, Inc. We recognized the time required of Maintenance Operations Administrators to perform day to day activities was very demanding. We organized a group of individuals to assist those administrators. Our firm has spent years gaining the experience and knowledge necessary to assist administrators in many areas.
These activities include planning, design, and construction administration of maintenance and operations complexes. Our staff has provided these services in over 200 facilities for City, County and State governments, Utility Districts, Transit Agencies, and School Boards. We strive to stay aware of the ever-changing requirements of maintenance operations in order to provide administrators with information pertaining to new technologies and practices. The wide geographic range of our projects, combined with the wide variety of facility types, provides insight to the varying views of operations and the facilities necessary to support them.
It is our policy to assign a Senior staff member to each project in order to provide the greatest range of knowledge to our clients. We look forward to the opportunity to assist you in all aspects of your maintenance operations. More importantly, we look forward to making your job as a Maintenance Operations Administrator more efficient by providing an expanded knowledge base for your use.
Good luck in your endeavors!
Ronald J. Hilton,
President
